This company was created to honor the complexity, courage, and humanity of the many communities who helped shape the United States—including African, Indigenous, Spanish, and other historically significant groups whose stories are deeply woven into St. Augustine’s past. These narratives—both widely known and less often told—offer a fuller understanding of how the city and nation evolved over time.
